A Cozy At-Home Engagement Session with Emma & David
There’s something so special about photographing couples in their own space—where the laughter is real, the snacks are close, and the memories already live. For Emma and David’s engagement session, we kept things simple and meaningful. They spent their favourite kind of date night together—making a pizza from scratch in the kitchen of their first home. Flour flew, cheese was over-sprinkled, and it was perfectly them.
After pizza in the kitchen, we wandered through their cozy corners—the living room nook that catches the best afternoon light and their well-worn spot on the couch, sitting beneath their walls that are already filled with tiny pieces of their story via polaroids, while also creating new ones at the same time.
Sessions like this are a gentle reminder that magic doesn’t need a grand location—it just needs love and a little good lighting.
Can’t wait to be back next month for their backyard wedding, surrounded by their closest friends and family. It’s going to be relaxed, intentional, and so full of heart—just like them.
