A Stunning Day in Niagara's Wine Country
Erin + Dan are one of those couples that just make sense. Like 2 puzzle pieces, seriously these 2 are made for each other. When we met for their engagement session in October 2021, I was in awe of now only how sweet they were, but also how comfortable they were in front of the camera. They were so naturally themselves, they barely needed any direction from me.
Their wedding day was just as comfortable and effortless. We started the day at Inn on the Twenty in the gorgeous small town vibes of Jordan Station (just east of Hamilton, Ontario) where Erin and Dan were getting ready. This was such a gorgeous space with endless opportunities for photographers to go crazy for! The socks that Erin got for her bridal party, plus the beautiful boutonnieres that were handmade by one of her bridesmaids were the perfect details that added a nice personal touch to the day.
One of my favourite moments from the day was Erin's first look with her mum. These always are such moving moments that I love to capture. Erin and Dan also did a first look together outside in the courtyard area and some couples portraits around the town. Erin's giddiness was so infectious and really set the tone for the rest of the day.
Having a first look meant that we could get a lot of photos done and out of the way BEFORE the ceremony! YAY! So we hopped in the limo to Cave Springs Vineyard for some wedding party photos among the grapevines before the ceremony.
Another favourite moment was when the golf cart that Erin's dad was driving malfunctioned and the horn wouldn't turn off. He drove her all the way down to the ceremony site at Cave Springs Vineyard with the horn going off the the entire time and it made everyone laugh!
There were a couple moments throughout the day where I caught Dan looking at Erin and he seemed to be just glowing with pride. These 'stolen glance' images are so sweet and I love documenting them.
It was a beautiful ceremony among the greenery of the forest edge and they followed there 'I do's' with a toast among their family and friends. After family portraits were finished we headed back to Inn on the Twenty for the reception and a BUMPIN' dance floor!
