One of Emily + Jake's favourite activities to do together is to take walks with their dogs Yoda and Hazel. Growing up in Erin Ontario, I've taken my dogs to Scotsdale Farm in Halton Hills soooooo many times so I knew this would make the perfect backdrop for their engagement session. Getting to come back to places that mean something is always a treat and I was so happy Emily + Jake chose this location
Scotsdale Farm is like a photographers playground: it has a beautiful old barn, gorgeous farmhouse, rolling hills of tall grass. Throw in the soft glow of a perfect sunset and you've got yourself a perfect photo location!
Once we got a couple shots with Yoda and Hazel it was time to focus on just Emily and Jake and their connection. We relaxed and explored all the beautiful spots the farm had to offer and soaked in the final moments of the day in the wide open hills as the light faded from golden hour to blue hour.
